MSC to Launch New Route! Direct Service Between South America and Middle East

Starting from October, Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) will launch a new route service connecting to the Middle East market, with Abu Dhabi serving as a key transshipment hub.

This new route is specifically designed for refrigerated cargo destined for major Persian Gulf destinations. South American exporters and Middle Eastern importers will benefit from shorter transit times: cargo will take no more than 33 days to reach Abu Dhabi, 38 days to Shuwaikh, and 39 days to Hamad.

The inaugural sailing will depart from Itajai, operated by the vessel "MSC SHREYA B." with voyage number QJ539R.

The port rotation of the route is as follows:

Buenos Aires → Rio Grande → Itajai → Navegantes → Paranagua → Santos → Rio de Janeiro → Walvis Bay → Abu Dhabi → Singapore → Qingdao → Busan → Ningbo → Shanghai → Shekou → Singapore → Colombo → Rio de Janeiro → Santos → Paranagua → Itapoa → Itajai → Buenos Aires
