On May 18, with the "AMALTHEA" berthing at the Da Chan Bay Terminal, the weekly Asian route operated by Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC), Seagull service, began to officially call at the western part of Shenzhen after the upgrade.
In order to better cope with the growth of the market in South China, MSC has made Dachan Bay Terminal the only port of call in South China for this route. So far, the route has fully covered both North China and South China. The upgraded Seagull service is directly connected to more ports in China, and provides exporters in southern China with fast transit times to Vietnam, Thailand and other Asian countries, helping customers to seize the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement that came into effect at the beginning of this year (RCEP).
Mr. Yang Zicong, Managing Director of Dachan Bay Terminal, said: "This is the third international liner route opened by MSC at Dachan Bay Terminal. We are delighted to further strengthen our cooperation with MSC, the world's largest shipping company. This route further enriches Our route network in Asia can provide customers with more choices.
