The purpose of the container seal number is to minimize the risk of someone entering the container or taking out the goods in the middle of the delivery, and also to prevent someone from putting illegal items in the cabinet, such as DP, contraband, imitation brands, etc. For this reason, many consignees of cargo will require that the seal number shown on the bill of lading/manifest is exactly the same as the seal number on the container upon receipt.

CONTAINER NUMBER

This is the container number of the loaded goods, you can query the container dynamics through the container number.

SEAL NUMBER

The container seal number has a lock made of plastic and metal with a unique seal number on it. This is a one-time use. Once opened, it cannot be used again. If the number on the container seal obtained by the consignee is the same as that on the bill of lading, it means that the container has not been opened.
