The NTX service is jointly operated by TS Lines and CNC Line, a subsidiary of CMA CGM Group. It is an upgrade based on the NT8 service launched by CNC Line in January 2026, which originally served the North China-Thailand trade lane.
To support the new NTX service, TS Lines will deploy the 2,954 TEU vessel “TS TACOMA”, replacing one of the three ships previously operated by CNC Line on the NT8 route. Previously, the NT8 service was operated with four vessels, each with a nominal capacity of 2,300 TEU.
The full port rotation of the NTX service is: Tianjin → Dalian → Qingdao → Hong Kong → Shekou → Laem Chabang → Hong Kong → Nansha → Tianjin.
This rotation directly connects core North China ports (Tianjin, Dalian, Qingdao) with Thailand’s Laem Chabang Port, while also linking key South China hub ports (Hong Kong, Shekou, Nansha). It effectively strengthens regional connectivity and route flexibility for cross-border logistics.

Direct North China-Thailand Connectivity: The service enhances the coverage and stability of routes from North China to Thailand, enabling faster and more reliable cargo transportation between the two regions.
Synergy with TS Lines’ CHT Service: It operates in coordination with TS Lines’ existing CHT route, expanding North China port options and providing more flexible route combinations and schedule arrangements for customers.
Enhanced Thailand Export Frequency: The NTX service supports Thailand’s export layout to North China, optimizing two-way cargo flows between North China and Thailand.
Balanced Network Configuration: Through multi-route synergy, the service strengthens container space scheduling capabilities and improves the overall resilience of TS Lines’ intra-Asia network.
TS Lines stated that the launch of the NTX service is part of its broader 2026 network development plan, aiming to continuously improve its intra-Asia regional route network and strengthen the direct layout between North China and Southeast Asia.
