On August 25, T.S. Lines announced its financial results for the first half of 2025. During the reporting period, the company achieved revenue of $641 million, a year-on-year increase of 18.7%, and profit attributable to equity shareholders of $189 million, a surge of 222.0% compared to the same period last year.
T.S. Lines attributed the significant profit growth primarily to the strong performance of its Greater China-Southeast Asia and Greater China-Northeast Asia routes, with average freight rates reaching $611/TEU and $514/TEU, respectively, leading to a notable improvement in unit revenue. Additionally, the North Asia-Southeast Asia route also experienced robust growth in average freight rates.
The company reported significant progress in both route expansion and fleet optimization during the first half of 2025.
In terms of route expansion, T.S. Lines continued to deepen its presence in regional markets while actively expanding into long-haul, high-value segments. The company extended its focus to the trans-Pacific, Middle East, and East Africa markets. In April 2025, it officially launched the Asia-Mexico route, further expanding its footprint in the Latin American market and diversifying its global service coverage and revenue structure.
During the reporting period, T.S. Lines' trans-Pacific routes (including services to the U.S. West Coast and Mexico) handled a total volume of 36,270 TEUs, reflecting the region's high-value potential and contributing to the strengthening of the company's deep-sea market presence and revenue diversification.
As of June 30, 2025, T.S. Lines operated 49 routes, including 11 independently operated routes, 24 joint services, 11 slot-exchange agreements, and 3 slot-charter arrangements. Its network covers 60 major ports across 22 countries and regions worldwide.
In terms of fleet structure, T.S. Lines maintained a high proportion of owned vessels, leveraging its relatively young fleet to ensure service stability and operational flexibility.
According to Alphaliner data as of August 26, 2025, T.S. Lines operates a fleet of 40 vessels with a total capacity of 106,252 TEUs, including 35 owned vessels (88,422 TEUs) and 5 chartered vessels (17,830 TEUs), ranking 20th globally in terms of capacity.
Looking ahead to the second half of the year, T.S. Lines stated that it will continue to enhance route operational efficiency and unit revenue performance, deepen its presence in core markets, and closely monitor global trade dynamics and geopolitical risks to steadily advance its overall operations and sustainable development strategies.
