  Buena Ventura (Colombia) → Corinto (Nicaragua) → Caldera (Costa Rica) → Buena Ventura

️ CA2 Feeder (Mexico-Centric):

• Start Date: August 31, 2025

• Port Rotation:
  Lázaro Cárdenas (Mexico) → Acajutla (El Salvador) → Lázaro Cárdenas

• Coverage: Strengthens Mexican transshipment hub role.

Strategic Value

Network Integration:

• Complements PIL’s 5 existing Asia-Latin America mainlines, especially the WCSA (West Coast South America) route.

• Targets niche markets with limited direct calls (e.g., Caldera handles <5% of regional cargo).

Cargo Focus:

• CA1: Agricultural exports (coffee, bananas) from Colombia/Nicaragua.

• CA2: Manufacturing goods via Mexico’s Lázaro Cárdenas deep-water port.
