Leveraging the scale of the fresh flower industry, Yunnan's eternal flowers have also shown outstanding export performance. Eternal flowers are created by dehydrating, decolorizing, drying, and dyeing fresh cut flowers through a series of complex processes. They can be preserved for a long time, and their export prices can reach 5 to 10 times that of regular fresh flowers.

At an eternal flower production company in Kunming, Yunnan, workers are rushing to fulfill export orders. The company's director told reporters that since they began exporting eternal flowers in 2017, the export volume has increased year by year.

Yang Qian, the head of foreign trade at Yunnan Horticulture Co., mentioned, "Eternal flowers do not require watering, sunlight, or other maintenance and can maintain their ornamental value for up to a year."

It is known that in Kunming, Yunnan alone, there are hundreds of production and processing bases exporting eternal flowers, with products being shipped to over 50 countries and regions including the United States, Australia, and France. Export companies design different styles based on local customs, traditions, and historical cultures, which are increasingly welcomed by overseas consumers.
