COSCO Shipping Establishes New Company!

COSCO Shipping Lines (Central Asia) Co., Ltd. was officially unveiled in Almaty at a ceremony held on September 27 (local time). The establishment of this company will comprehensively enhance the end-to-end logistics service capabilities across the Eurasian continent.

Lin Ji, Vice President of COSCO Shipping Group; Yerlan Kushbayev, Vice President of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy (Kazakhstan National Railways); Zhandos Shaik, Vice President of Kazakhstan’s Baiterek National Management Holding; Sheng Yan, Logistics Director of Yihai Kerry Arawana Holdings Co., Ltd.; as well as relevant leaders from COSCO Shipping Lines, COSCO Shipping Logistics Supply Chain, and COSCO Shipping Europe, attended the event and jointly unveiled the new company.

As a natural bridge connecting Europe and Asia, the Central Asia region is embracing unprecedented development opportunities under the guidance of the "Belt and Road" Initiative.

It is reported that COSCO Shipping Lines (Central Asia) Co., Ltd. was jointly established by COSCO Shipping Lines and COSCO Shipping Logistics Supply Chain. This marks an innovative attempt at a new joint venture model between the two parties, aiming to build an efficient, intelligent, and green new logistics corridor. With core businesses including container yards, warehousing services, international multimodal transport, and project logistics, the company will fully upgrade the end-to-end logistics service capabilities across the Eurasian continent.
