From 1 April, MSC Update Export Misdeclartion Fee

Mediterranean Shipping (MSC) from 1 April 2022 on all shipments from Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam to all destinations Adjusted Export Misdeclaration Fee (CMD) increased to $3,500/container.

This fee applies to the following situations:

· Any change of the named customer name (Named Account) after MSC booking confirmation, so that the freight is lower than the original rate;

· Any abuse of the contract (including product name, port, and/or customer information that differs from the original contract);
