MSC Launches 1 New Route & Upgrades 2 Existing Routes!

Recently, MSC announced the launch of a brand-new independent route service—SAMBAR—connecting China with Vietnam, Thailand, and Malaysia, providing more direct channels and faster transit times.
In addition, MSC will upgrade the PERTIWI route service to establish faster connections from North and South China to Indonesia, and optimize the ORCHID route service to link South China with Vietnam.
The above upgrade plans will be implemented in October and November 2025 respectively, with details as follows:

SAMBAR Route Service

  • Port Call Sequence: Dalian – Incheon – Tianjin Xingang – Qingdao – Dachan Bay – Dong Nai – Laem Chabang – Singapore – Penang – Pasir Gudang – Singapore – Tanjung Pelepas – Busan – Dalian

  • Maiden Voyage: Expected to depart from Dalian on October 29, 2025, aboard the MSC Vigour, with voyage number HR544A.

PERTIWI Route Service

  • Port Call Sequence: Busan – Dalian – Tianjin Xingang – Qingdao – Shekou – Singapore – Jakarta – Panjang – Jakarta – Singapore – Hong Kong – Nansha – Busan

  • Maiden Voyage: Expected to depart from Busan on October 29, 2025, aboard the Athena, with voyage number HW544A.

ORCHID Route Service

  • Port Call Sequence: Fuzhou – Shantou – Hong Kong – Shekou – Yantian – Haiphong – Singapore – Qinzhou – Hong Kong – Fuzhou

  • Maiden Voyage: Expected to depart from Fuzhou on November 5, 2025, aboard the MSC Makalu III, with voyage number HD545A.
